Mutual Responsibility As The Key To Victory
Posted Jul 09 2008 As we all know the Israeli government is with one hand pursuing a policy of meekness toward the Arab enemy from within and from without, while with the other hand pursuing a forceful policy against righteous Jews living throughout Eretz Yisrael - Jews defending with their bodies and homes the residents of Eretz Yisrael. Under this policy, the government is trying (sometimes successfully) to destroy structures in the hilltop outposts and in many neighborhoods throughout Judea and Samaria. They argue that these structures and neighborhoods were built illegally. (As we are all well aware, their "illegality" is based on instructions received from the U.S. State Department, the same body that defines even the Jewish neighborhoods in east Jerusalem as illegal.)
At the same time, the government prevents Jews from receiving building permits. This policy is a modern-day "White Paper," whose purpose is the creation of a cordon of strangulation around the Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria. Unfortunately, we know from much experience that weakening the Jewish hold on Eretz Yisrael - besides going against our holy Torah - leads to increased Arab terror.

A network has been established to struggle against these policies. The new network, which has set out to establish modes of action and initiatives for confronting and responding to political threats, is called "All of Israel Are Responsible for One Another!"
The way the destroying forces work is to arrive quietly at an outpost, quickly destroy it before protest develops, and then withdraw swiftly. Past experience has taught us that bringing large numbers of people from far away to an outpost under such conditions is almost impossible. Most of the public will not arrive on time, and those who do arrive will be unable to turn the tide in our favor.
We have begun to understand that the time has come to change our mode of struggle. Instead of concentrating our struggle exclusively on the outpost in question, we must spread it out over as many settlement spots as possible. The government must understand that destroying one caravan on a distant hill will create a snowball of reactions in Israel and abroad. Every one of us can and must show that he, too, cares about what happened, and that we do not intend to remain silent about it. Everyone should take action in the way he or she sees fit.
Imagine that as one caravan from one of the outposts is being destroyed, there will be reactions throughout Israel - such as road blockings, the establishment of new outposts, hikes by young people through unconventional areas, and even a flood of protest faxes from our brethren in the Diaspora. Not only will this place an enormous burden on the forces of destruction, but the government will see that all the lovers of Eretz Yisrael in Israel and abroad feel mutually responsible for one another. Slowly the government will understand that there is a heavy price to pay for the destruction of Jewish structures, and it will think twice about whether it pays to continue their policy.
Operation "Mutual Responsibility" will hopefully consolidate the entire camp, and will act to deter the government from its evil future plans.
We call upon our brethren in Israel and throughout the world to participate in operation "Mutual Responsibility." For details, contact ihuditk@gmail.com.
The preceding is based on minutes from a meeting of representatives from the settlements of Judea, Binyamin and Samaria.
